The Precious Pear
This free pear crochet pattern, like all my free fruit crochet patterns, is easy and quick to make and a great start if you’d like to learn to make amigurumi.
In saying this, it is a written crochet pattern with some photos, so it will be a bit easier if you already have some crochet experience before you get started (but you don’t need much!).
While the full crochet pattern for this amigurumi pear is available on my website (keep scrolling for the pattern!), the PDF pattern is also available from Etsy and Ravelry.
If you do decide to make this Precious Pear, I’d absolutely love to see your makes and share them with the community! To share your patterns with me, simply post a photo on social using the hashtag #CillaCrochets and tag me @CillaCrochets. I hope you enjoy it!
Precious Pear PDF Crochet Pattern
The Precious Pear is also available as a downloadable PDF crochet pattern from my Ravelry, Etsy, or Ribblr online stores.

Crocheted Pear Size
I used the following yarn with a 3.5 mm (E) hook and the amigurumi pear turned out to be 14.5 cm / 4.7 ” high and 8 cm / 3.1 ” wide. Please note: I do tend to crochet quite tightly, so your pear may turn out larger.

11 sc stitches on 5 cm / 1.96 “
11 rows on 5 cm / 1.96 “

Crochet Top Tips & Additional Pattern Information
- Yarn: The yarn choice is completely up to you, and you can change the yarn weight, material, and colours based on your own personal preference. Just be aware that the weight of your yarn may impact the hook size you need to use and also the size of your final make.
- Hook size: I recommend using a smaller hook size than recommended on the yarn label. This will stop the stuffing appearing through your stitches.
- Working in rounds: All parts within this pattern are worked in continuous rounds unless otherwise stated.
- Stitch marker: Use a stitch marker at the beginning of each round to keep track of the number of stitches in each round.
- Stuffing: Unless otherwise stated, stuff all amigurumi parts firmly as you crochet.
- Decreases: I recommend using invisible decreases throughout.
- Copyright: You are more than welcome to sell your crocheted creations using this pattern on a small scale. However, the pattern itself cannot be reproduced, sold, or redistributed in any way without the designers’ consent.
